INGREDIENTS
FILLING
1/4 cup salted butter (melted) 4-5 ripe peaches (sliced) 1/2 cup coconut sugar 1 tbsp brandy or bourbon (optional) 2 tsp pure vanilla extract 1 tsp cinnamon
DOUGH TOPPING
1/2 cup Octonuts California Walnut Protein Powder 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup coconut sugar 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts 2 tsp baking powder 1 stick salted butter (melted) 1/2 cup milk
HOW TO
Brown 1/4 cup butter in a cast iron pan until it’s golden brown. Put in the sliced peaches, sprinkle the cinnamon, 1/2 cup of the coconut sugar, vanilla, bourbon or brandy, and cook slightly for 3 mins.
While the peaches are cooking, prepare the dough. Combine the walnut powder, all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of the coconut sugar, and chopped walnuts with 1 stick melted butter and 1/2 cup milk. Mix by hand to turn it into a crumble. Sprinkle on the semi-cooked peaches and put it in the oven.
Bake at 375F for 10-15 minutes.
Top with vanilla ice cream and ENJOY!
