Whole30 Walnut Crusted Chicken with Octonuts Walnut Protein Powder

INGREDIENTS

2 large chicken breasts, sliced in half (or 4 small chicken breasts)
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1 cup Octonuts California Walnut Protein Powder
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp ground pepper
1 egg, whisked
2 TBSP Octonuts Califonia Walnut Oil

HOW TO

How to Prepare Whole30 Walnut Crusted Chicken

First, trim fat from chicken breasts. If using 2 large chicken breasts, slice in half.

Add whisked egg to a shallow bowl. In another shallow bowl, mix together walnuts, Octonuts Walnut Protein Powder, sea salt and pepper.

Dredge each piece of chicken in the whisked egg mixture, allowing excess to run off. Then, dip each piece in the dry walnut mixture. Repeat for remaining chicken.

Add Octonuts Walnut Oil to a skillet over medium heat. Add each piece of chicken to the skillet. Do not overlap chicken. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes on the first side. Flip and cook another 4 to 5 minutes. Once chicken is cooked through, remove from skillet and serve.

Note: chicken is done cooking when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
