Whole30 Baked Meatballs Recipe

INGREDIENTS

2 pounds grass fed ground beef (VEGETARIAN TIP: SubstituteĀ a plant-based option, likeĀ Lightlife or Beyond Meat. Keep in mind meat substitutes are generally not Whole30 compliant.)
1/4 cup onion, chopped finely
1 egg, beaten
2 TablespoonsĀ minced garlic
2Ā Tablespoons Octonuts Almond Protein Powder
Pinch sea salt
3/4 tsp ground pepper
1Ā Tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoonsĀ oregano
1/2Ā teaspoonĀ basil
2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 cups marinara sauce, optional

HOW TO

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Using your hands, combine mixture until uniform.

Whole30 Baked Meatballs Recipe

Form meat mixture into 1.5 inch meatballs. Place meatballs 1 inch from each other on baking sheet.

Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

If serving with marinara sauce, add marinara to a large casserole dish. Place cooked meatballs on top. Place dish in oven and bake for 20 minutes.

Serve with veggie noodles or cauliflower rice.
