Khajur Pak Protein Smoothie (Video)
Cookbook author Hetal Vasavada created this protein smoothie recipe inspired by one of her favorite childhood foods — Khajur Pak, a traditional Indian dessert made with nuts, dates, coconut, and spices.
INGREDIENTS
2 bananas, frozen
6-8 dates, pitted
1 ½ cups milk (or non-dairy milk)
2 tsp flax seeds
¼ tsp ground cardamom or cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1 scoop
Octonuts Vanilla Almond Protein Powder
1 scoop
Octonuts Walnut Protein Powder
1 Tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut
Makes 2 servings.
HOW TO
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Pour into 2 tall glasses and sprinkle with additional shredded coconut before serving.
