It's 💚 at first bite when dreamy dark chocolate meets creamy mint with a boost of NUTritious plant protein from our 1-ingredient Almond Protein Powder.
8 oz cream cheese 1/4 cup cacao butter (softened) 1/4 cup honey 1 tsp pure vanilla extract 1/2 tsp mint extract 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (melted) 1/2 cup Octonuts California Almond Protein Powder 1 cup dark chocolate chips (for coating) Green food coloring (optional) - Natural food coloring options can be matcha, chlorella or green spirulina
Beat cream cheese and cacao butter on high speed for three minutes.
Add honey, vanilla extract, mint extract, melted white chocolate chips and food coloring and beat on low speed just until combined.
When the cream cheese mixture is relatively firm, take it out of the fridge, using 1 tbsp measuring spoon scoop it out and roll into balls. Put each ball on a fork and using a spoon pour the melted dark chocolate on it until it’s all covered. Using a chopstick, carefully transfer the coated truffle from a fork to a parchment paper.
Refrigerate until it’s firm.
