4 cups milk
2 cups water
2 scoops Octonuts Almond Protein Powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon
In a saucepan, combine Octonuts California Almond Protein Powder, sugar, cocoa powder, and cinnamon.
Add water; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes.
Stir in milk, heat to serving temperature, but do not boil!
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla extract.
If desired, garnish with marshmallows or whipped cream.
TIP: Adapt this recipe with our Vanilla or Chocolate Almond Protein Powders! Since both are already lightly sweetened with coconut sugar, so simply eliminate or reduce the amount of additional sugar to taste.
